“Team India all-rounder Washington Sundar experienced pain in his lower rib area while bowling in the first ODI against New Zealand in Vadodara on Sunday. He will undergo various scans soon. Following this, the BCCI medical team will seek expert opinion.”

Sundar also has a side strain, and the severity of the injury will determine whether he plays in the World Cup or stays home.
