The Indian cricketer recently shared a video on social media, which has now sparked a major controversy. Rinku Singh posted a video of Hindu deities created with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI), following which a complaint has been filed against him.
What is The Rinku Singh Controversy?
Rinku had shared a video on his social media account in which Lord Hanuman was seen driving a car wearing sunglasses, while Lord Shiva was sitting next to him, also wearing sunglasses. Other deities were also shown in the back, wearing sunglasses. Rinku had created this video using AI. Now, officials of the Karni Sena have filed a complaint at the Sasni Gate police station, demanding action against Rinku Singh.

The Karni Sena stated regarding the star player, “The video of Hindu deities that Rinku Singh shared has hurt religious sentiments.” They have demanded action from the police in this matter. According to Police Station In-charge Manoj Kumar, an investigation into the matter is currently underway.
Rinku Singh is part of the Indian team for the T20 World Cup 2026. Before that, Rinku will play for India in the 5-match T20 series against New Zealand. However, Rinku’s troubles have increased even before the World Cup. It remains to be seen what action the police will take against Rinku in this matter.
