India Women’s Squad: The BCCI announced the Indian women’s ODI and T20 International squads for the tour of Australia on Saturday evening, January 17, 2026.
Off-spinner Shreyanka Patil and batter Bharti Fulmali have returned to the T20I squad, while wicketkeeper G Kamalini and left-arm spinner Vaishnavi Sharma have been included in the ODI squad for the first time.

Shreyanka recently took her first five-wicket haul against Gujarat Giants in a WPL 2026 match. She became the youngest player in the tournament’s history to achieve this feat. The young off-spinner accomplished this at the age of 23 years and 169 days.

This performance led to her return to the Indian T20 team. Notably, she was sidelined from competitive cricket last year due to injury.
Harleen Deol Dropped from T20I Squad
Kashvee Gautam has also been included in the 15-member ODI squad, while fast bowler Arundhati Reddy and left-arm spinner Radha Yadav have been dropped from the team. Harleen Deol, who was part of the ODI squad, has been dropped from the 16-member T20I squad. Harmanpreet Kaur will captain both teams, while Smriti Mandhana will be the vice-captain.
