According to a report, this 20-team tournament will be held from February 7th to March 8th. Like the 2023 ODI World Cup, Ahmedabad will host the opening and final matches, while Mumbai will host one of the two semi-finals. If a semi-final is contested between India and Pakistan, it will be played in Colombo, while the second semi-final will be held at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

India’s semi-final matches were played here in the 2016 T20 World Cup and the 2023 ODI World Cup, while the 2011 ODI World Cup final was held on this ground. The upcoming T20 World Cup 2026 will also feature matches in Delhi, Chennai, and Kolkata, along with Mumbai and Ahmedabad. Additionally, matches will be held at three different grounds in Sri Lanka.
